Strategy: Penguin Edit

Strength: Penguin Edit

The Penguin offers fantastic area coverage for a 0 morale minion. Most minions that can cover all 3 forward tiles cost a lot more, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. A row of Penguins can cover each other to make a formidable defensive line and are tougher to block than Pawns since they can always march forward. The final level of penguin also offers a strategic advantage since it can teleport its way out of danger.

Weakness: Penguin Edit

Penguins don't promote, instead being able to jump back to the back rank when they reach the end of the board. This is also the only way for them to move backwards without help from other units, making it very difficult for them to maneuver into attacking position. The fact that their diagonal attack merely freezes can be a liability too: while freezing an enemy champion is a great way to neutralize powerful pieces, you don't really want to tie up your turns freezing opposing minions.
