Hoplite is a minion released in v0.50 able to move forward and have adjacent Hoplites move along with its movement, and promotes to Phalanx. Note: Costs and moves out of date
Strategy[]
A high level Hoplite can combine with two lower level hoplites by its sides to give them bonus mobility. With proper support, Hoplites can march forward and hope to get at least one promotion for the very-powerful Phalanx.
Strengths[]
Hoplite has movement advantage because it basically is three moves within one. Its promotion (Phalanx) is also very intimidating. Hoplite+++ also has a block which could be useful.
Weaknesses[]
Hoplite's movement is very limited and costs a bit if it has no other Hoplites along with it. When it attacks it also does not move along the other Hoplites. It also has no diagonal attacks at all unless you have Hoplite+++, making that its weak spot.
